This policy explains how Get Frank LA ("Frank," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit getfrankla.com, text us at (310) 904-0404, email us, or apply to join as a service professional.
What we collect
- From homeowners: your name, mobile number, service address, a description of what needs fixing, any photos you send, and your text conversations with us.
- From service professionals: the details you submit in our application (name, business name, mobile number, trade, ZIP code, years in the trade, website, and who referred you), plus information we review while vetting you, such as license and insurance status.
- Automatically: basic technical information our website host records when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
How we use it
- To understand your repair request and match you with an available, approved professional.
- To send you texts about your request, booking and job, or about your application and jobs if you're a professional.
- To review and vet professional applications.
- To respond to questions, provide support, prevent fraud, and improve our service.
- To comply with the law.
How we share it
- With the professional you book: once you confirm a booking, we share your name, phone number, address and job details with that one professional so they can do the work.
- With homeowners: if you're a professional, we share your name, trade and arrival details with the homeowner whose job you accept.
- With service providers who help us run Frank, such as our texting, email, website hosting and data storage providers. They may only use the information to provide those services to us.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public or Frank.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messages
If you text us or give us your number, you agree to receive texts from Frank about your request, booking or application. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Terms for details.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to provide our service, keep records of jobs, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, then delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hi@getfrankla.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children
Frank is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
